Volvo JCB Skid Steer Stuck in Park

Could you have an air locked line to the park brake solenoid, or the pump that feeds it is air locked itself. Worth checking to rule out. Simon C

    PM620_8RF

Just out of curiosity how many hours on the unit, and how many hours between Module Failures? Maybe some one else will chime in, who has access to factory info. Has anyone boosted the unit, not told anyone and the Module lets go after? Not uncommon for things like that to happen. Simon C

    Takeuchi TB025 model specific problems

Ask if you can supply the oil and dump the existing planetary oil into a white container to see how much silver and metal there is in it. That would cost you about the same as toilet paper in comparison to having to change out finals that have not been seviced. Take a hydraulic oil sample and...

Need help again 325 bobcat mini ex

If I understand correctly, does the engine die the second you move the safety lever on the side of seat to operating position. If that is so, that tells me the engine cannot carry a load. Have you changed out the fuel filters, Banjo Bolt filters if it has some, Tried running the unit off of a...

    2012 Hyundai 210 Robex opinion

There was lots of them used in the logging industry with machine processor heads on them. Some got lots of hours on them. Seemed to be pretty solid machines. Simon C

    850j

Is it overheating on the display or with a temperature gun taking temperatures. Could a engine oil cooler be partially plugged and causing it to get warmer. Could the transmission cooler be partially blocked and causing more heat. Is there foam seals missing around the radiator, have you...

bobcat 331 hydraulics keep locking out

Forgot to mention that you could be getting shut down by something on the lower half of the display that has not or cannot be seen so as to address the problem. Simon C

bobcat 331 hydraulics keep locking out

Changing an arm switch does not guarantee it is fixed. Testing the loop of the switch with a 5 amp bulb would check it to ensure it is 100% okay. Then checking the wires that feed the pilot solenoid would be a good check. But firstly it would be a good idea to check and test the battery...

    Bobcat S300 power tach inop

Only thing I can think of is to follow the hoses from the Power Tach back to the oil supply. Manual would help if you can buy one possibly. Simon C

    CATT 299D XHP No Hydraulics

Maybe he will reappear with the end repair, but many have slipped away as into the night and never came back. Simon C

Cat 950H, is it to much?

If it is used around peoples driveways with curbs and things like that it is less forgiving than lets say an 8000lb skid steer if you touch something. If the parking lot is huge, then it works great. It is an expensive piece of equipment if only doing small amount of work, but maybe money is...

    Case 75XT

Manufacturers put the diodes in for the occasional spike back from a collapsing coil that can re-energize a solenoid. That is what I recall is the reason for them. I have installed multiple relay set ups with out having the diodes, but in pure safety terms it might be better with them. Simon C

    Quick Coupler Boss Welding

That would work well as well and allow the block to bend as the boom bends as small as it does. The only thing is to ensure there is no crater at end of weld. Simon C

Case TV450B air conditioner compressor blowing fuse

Find out if the fuse that powers it up or the relay that powers it up is loose on one pin. Case has tiny pins on the relays and they come loose over time, of coarse the clutch could be shorting out, but that could be checked with remote power. Simon C

Broken Bolt - Crossmember to Reverser - John Deere 350 - How to Fix?

Caterpillar bolts are 20% stronger than grade 8 from what I know, and have had good success with over the years. Simon C

    Quick Coupler Boss Welding

That is how I was taught also. Have to allow for some bend and not create a pinch point that starts a crack. Simon C

Broken Bolt - Crossmember to Reverser - John Deere 350 - How to Fix?

Always good to change out fatigued bolts while able and replace with Cat bolts or Grade 9 bolts such as Bomalloy or Fedalloy which both can handle a bit more torque and less likely to break. Simon C

    Quick Coupler Boss Welding

Forgot to mention to warm up the area you are welding before each weld with propane torch or the like to help the molecules be better lined up. Simon C

Broken Bolt - Crossmember to Reverser - John Deere 350 - How to Fix?

You can take a 3 inch fully threaded bolt and cut with zip disc to 2 inch and it won't cause any problems, but shorten the stretch zone on a bolt with shoulder in a high impact situation and they will break over and over again. This all comes from a Bomalloy technical book that I have that...

    Quick Coupler Boss Welding

I could be wrong, but the square ones need to be welded on the horizontal with care taken not to leave a crater in the end of the weld by backing up 1/4 inch when you get near the end. Don't overweld as these things don't hold 5 tons of weight or force. Just silicone the ends of the blocks and...
