    Opposing hydraulic cylinders

Post a picture or two and it might get more comments and good advice is my suggestion. Put some arrows on the pictures at specific ends so we know exactly what you mean. Simon C

    Devastated I couldn't save her

Try to take one day at a time, remember the good times and you did your best to try to save her. There is no time limit to grieve, and time and unforseen occurences happen to good people as well. Stay busy and reach out if your feeling like you need to hear something encouraging. Am certain it...

    Deere 6068 SPN 1076

I would check any wire associated with the injection pump from original fuse supply to end with a 5 amp bulb to rule out a bad connection. Would not be good to do a pump and find out still does not go. Simon C

2005 Kobelco SK70SR-2 Need advice from a Kobelco expert. Lost boom lift and arm extend.

Using a vacuum to blow works, always have to remember that the hose could have something in it that is sitting loose and suddenly is in the compartment. Always better to use compressed air unless the hose is brand new and no dirt has passed through. Yes manual bleeding of hose after pump works...

    544k no power to display

You will need a electrical schematic to figure out what wires power the display and what wires are the grounds, and then will need to test these to find out if power is there or not. Best post your complete serial number as there could be variations by serial numbers. Simon C

2005 Kobelco SK70SR-2 Need advice from a Kobelco expert. Lost boom lift and arm extend.

If you are into pilot line joystick controls, then you probable need to find which spool is boom up versus stick out on the pilot lines and check if some rubber went and plugged the lines at the main control valve. Could check for pressure at those locations also. Simon C

    850j

That is warm but would not say it is super hot for where you live and the fact that it is an older radiator system. If a yellow light does not come on keep running it and monitor the antifreeze. For your info a 65% antifreeze to water blend does increase boil point over 50% or less than 50%...

2005 Kobelco SK70SR-2 Need advice from a Kobelco expert. Lost boom lift and arm extend.

Boom up and stick out are 2 different joy sticks. Not sure how to get codes out of display if possible without software. Unless if both those functions use a common ground somewhere in the cab, be worth checking, and even if it isn't you can rule that part out for the next round of problems...

    Bobcat T190 hydraulics locked out

The safety sensors like the seat switch, Lap Bar, door switch are usually in series and if one is out usually machine boom will not work to protect door from boom smashing it if open. Need to see schematics to comment more. If you have post a picture, if you don't I suggest buy as electrical...

    Spool valve help jd300b

Skinny Zip Disc or 32 tooth cobalt hacksaw blade at an angle for cutting, might get it loose. Also hitting it not too hard on that exact band with a small ball peen hammer while the backside is against something solid may help release it. Simon C

Volvo ECR48C - hydraulic functions dead

Right at the Pilot filter is a good place to test on some models. Some you can put a Tee fiting before or after the filter, depends how it is made. Simon C

Rusty Bobcat S650 electrical problems, starts then shuts down

I built breakout cables to be able to test the relays with them in your hand and meter leads on them as they are actuated to see if they really work. Simon C

    komatsu pc45 mr-5

Did the Komatsu mechanic do all the electrical testing first along with checking codes, cause lets face it if there is anything wrong electrically to the computer control, you don't need any of the other parts until the computer sees clean power in and ground along with quality crank sensors or...

    komatsu pc45 mr-5

Can't say too much good about aftermarket injectors from my experience. How do you know if the computer is not being told not to make engine go, what kind of electrical testing was done for computer power in and out. I have seen a Dodge Ram Diesel that ran like junk that needed new battery...

    komatsu pc45 mr-5

Have you checked all the fuses and relays for power, probably not if you don't have a manual. If you post your serial number you might be able to get more information like a schematic or some test info. Simon C

    komatsu pc45 mr-5

Were all these parts OEM or were some aftermarket. You have spent a lot on these parts, was a gauge ever hooked up to this unit. Does it have an air shutoff that is tripped. Have you tried for a few seconds to see if it fires on starting fluid. Does it have external fuel lines to the...

Volvo ECR48C - hydraulic functions dead

Have you checked with a gauge to see if you have pilot pressure at the filter or if not is the pump drive gone. Start with the simple things first. Do you have access to guages to test? Simon C

    Vacuum excavation trailers?

Have seen one that they use extensively for a oil patch company that I was contracted to. They seemed to like it compared to a shovel. Simon C

    Case w36

We had that set up on a whole bunch of Clark Transmissions that the seal would leak behind that style cap. The roll pins were tight to get out but were doable. Think you will have to pull out piece as Steve said. Simon C

    Champion 730A on hills

Real question is, does the engine drop a pile of RPM or does the torque just start stalling almost with the machine hardly moving. In other words does the transmission slip, or engine problem. Simon C
