You could be right. It may be a special purpose machine. I didn't realize we had front and back pics. I don't see a grinding wheel either. I do see the drag chains for head movement. Also noted the many leveling screws, typical of a very heavy, precise machine.

No chucks for standard duty. Looks like centers/center holes.

That sucks for that guy and everyone involved, but he wanted a new car/viral video/get on TV. Instead of trying to get the driver's attention and prevent further damage, he had time to get out his phone and start filming.

Leaving the scene of an accident too. The cab on the truck couldn't have more visibility! How can she claim she didn't see or hear anything. The cop must be a dunce too to belief her. All the vehicle owners should get together and sue her. Surprised it wasn't in Florida.

Woman Drivers, NO Mirror Views, Just Dead On Forward Stare, Ignore all noises. Was at Hdwe Store Yesterday, coming out of lot is a Side Street to a stop at Hwy19/100, Car left Dollar General ahead and awaiting traffic at stop sign, I SAW and HEARD Fire Tanker coming, She NOT EVER Looked, no cars and she Pulled Out, AIR HORNS ROARING she pulled out onto the New Small Span bridge SB to the NON Existent Middle Lane and Slowed to a crawl, AIR HORNS Still Blaring and she then pulled into the NB Lane and stopped. Tanker ran on and I pulled out, she must have soiled herself as was sitting BOTH Hands crushing the Steering wheel as I passed in SB lane. Cop was just pulling up to her.

Don't get on your high horses about women drivers. Just how many big burly, big bearded
and bald headed with sunglasses and high viz vested do you think have rolled air ride
dump trucks or tearing along with box up ripping out powerlines and/or have crashed into
highway overpasses in just the last two years??????

Gayle, the guy I worked with in the shop for 18 years, quit and went to work for a
construction outfit "bigger pay he said". Well Gayle doesn't drive anymore, seems he had
a few too many incidents and a wrecky-pooo. "Didn't dump the air on slightly uneven
ground, plus hadn't checked the box for stuck material in the front, "rolled it on it's side".
He is no longer allowed to drive for that company, at 81 he should have quit on his own
with a clean record before being told his services are no longer needed, embarrassing
way to end a CDL life.

Another reason I gave it up except for Recreation, Getting older, Reflexes getting weak, was doing pretty much as Gayle as to work and figured Time to Stop BEFORE the Problems. Saw enough Young Schitts do same as well, Knew It All Done It All types.
Have seen share of Little Frail old men cannot see above Steering wheel out to get Groceries and a New Bottle of Hooch 15-20mph in a 30, line to line in the lane, cannot see and NO reflexes so Brake Lights NOT Ever go out except as first leave a stop or park. Should be Using OATs services but too engrained to do it regardless.

In Australia the law has just been changed and now compulsory for all drivers over 60 to have an annual medical. Truck drivers have do an advanced version similar to private pilots.
Here's the kicker, kids with ADHD who have lighting fast reflexes and a brains stuck in the bog cog get a free pass.
So who do you think should be allowed to drive?
This **** grinds my gears big time.

With the rate/percentage of obesity adding to heart/vascular issues in the u.s. population
I think retirement age at 62 would be a good place to start with yearly physicals for CDL
drivers. But physicals should only be done by no less than a nurse practitioner, just using
the wrong size cuff will register a high BP, which is false positive. FMCSA estimates 12%
of incidents annually are caused from medical events.
As far as testing the rest--the best way is for companies to do a better back ground check
a better interview and a top rate test drive, after all it's their business and insurance they
are risking, along with the public.
