After I turned sixtyfive in order to keep my CDL I am required to have driver's lisence medical every two years at 70 I believe it will be required every year.
Here, anyone with any prescription medicines, or conditions have to have the CDL physical annually. Finding a doctor to examine is a BIG challenge! My doctor explains that a weeklong course is required to get certification to examine. He said: "I'm qualified to teach the course, but not to give the exam."

It's more like--doctors don't want to deal with paper work and perform the physical exam
because----it's just not as profitable as dealing with someone's toe fungus and all the lab
work plus tests generated for the hospital/medical group they are associated with.

I should have done a little more research. Seems I read a bs MSM story. No changes have been made in Queensland.
All over 75s need a medical certificate which is bulk billed by the doc.
For drivers of heavy vehicles a further test is required, similar to private pilots medical and has to be paid for by the driver.

Big trucks is what I know. HAZMAT is what I tow.
Been quiet, too quiet on the roads around here. The school bus drivers have been on strike and weight restrictions are keeping the dirt haulers off the roads. See a few sewage tankers and the normal refuge trucks and that’s about it.
