KX-121-3 2009 - no tach, no hour meter, No Aux error 53 on display

I purchased this used machine with a new consul display. and new AI controller. The hour Meter says .4 hrs and does not move the. The Aux thumb does not operate and the RPM Gauge reads nothing.
The display reads "53 sensor supply short 12V"
The machine starts and runs great otherwise. But, I would love the get the thumb working and meters working. I suspect the RPM sensor but, do not know how to test it.

Any suggestions please.

You need to press a button on the panel next to the right side of the seat to turn the aux hydraulics on. Can't help with your panel issue. I would check all fuses, all grounds, and the wiring harness to start though
