Hers a couple pic's i came across in my stack of pics . Here we have a 1945-46 Hayes model 13-12 the truck number maybe #150. I tried to track down the date and place they were taken, but i only be guessing by where my grandfather worked around the late 40's to 50's . The truck isn't brand new here it has some war wounds so i'm thinking it was taken in the 50's some time ,so that put him working and living in Harris Creek and also would make it a possible BCFP truck .He started working for BCFP in 1949 . Maybe HDX know's alittle more about this ole girl . enjoy

Really like how you get the best mileage out of your camera. You 'get it' when it comes to capturing the feel of the subject.Great pics all around, love the GY hovering above the Truck here too, real post card, thanks Todd

So happy for you you got a second crack at it.I've 'officially' been out as a full time gig since 2006,but have dabbled around it in a small way a few times still.I'd hoof it over to the island in a hurry for a off-highway truck ride though.

This is probably a dumb question, but can anyone explain the shape of the hinge wood left in the butt of the top log in post #787 above? For the life of me, I can't figure it out.

that is actually three logs at the top. two 'berries' and a twig. i hope that explains it

Kind of hard to tell with these old eyes. I should have noted the separate tags on the butts. Thanks.
