The body on that looks incredibly good, how are door bottoms and rocker panels? Certainly no visible corrosion in pictures. on edit ...maybe minor on rockers?

Not exactly sure, I haven't looked it yet, I expect some in floor that is the area to look because
of carpet/moisture. But that said it's 52 years old, if there was none that would rare, also this
PW has only been licensed in Wa it's entire life. Now if it were from lets say the other side of
Rockies and further east the only thing left would be a lug nut. And pickups like this end up in
many cases being bought/hauled back east because they have nothing left and want to destroy
what's left. I know that's a little sarcastic but it's the truth, usually once back east the rust starts
showing by the end of two years.

I remember reading about these, I am sure they did drain most of the fluids. I remember reading the batteries had the fill caps at the back so that when tilted up like this the acid would stay put. I imagine they could do something similar for the gas tank if it was filled a certain amount.

Note--that was only done with certain car models due to length. It did cause issues with
seepage at front crank, transmission and drive axle seals. An acquaintance worked at a
GM dealer at the time, if leakage was slight it was deemed ok, problem was the person
doing the deeming. Many clutches were replaced not long after sold.

No I didn't do parties, But I have an uncanny ability to remember back years and years.
One thing people really hated about me was the fact I have a tendency to remember conversations
about the most trivial things along with some very un-trivial conversations, especially those
involving a boss or fellow worker. One thing I really like to remember is negative items, no one
cares about positive items of the past. Smelly brown stuff, I leave that to the rest of the crowd.

That car above---One I never planned to post, 1963 & 1964 chevy impala's had to be
one of the most boring slim box designs ever bult, america fell for a ruler with wheels.
Designer ran his 4H pencil the length of both edges of ruler, drew a few lines for roof
two wheel openings and tires, Viola a cartoon car.

Note seat belt was deleted but padded dash was kept, didn't mind being thrown from
vehicle but wanted a soft spot to hit they're head on, on impact.

Guy went and bought a new Victory enclosed trailer yesterday in Post Falls, then drove here
to pick up that 383 plus trans. He bought it with some relative going to buy it from him when
his done with it, nice trailer with enough floor tie downs inside. Another engine sold & cash
in the bank.

Then a few hours later the dishwasher finally took a dump after 24 years. So a trip to
HD and bought another Whirlpool for $1,100 installed. Had to replace the fridge about
5 months ago it was 24 years old and bought another Whirlpool to replace that one.
I can't gripe about the Whirlpool appliances I've bought.
