Ok, just talked to LPS, and they said that their motors are all oiled by the hydraulic oil. Is that correct, just want to make sure, because drive motors are no $5 parts

    T-300 drive motor

hey, what oil do you use for the motors, and how much. Do you use the small bottle from bobcat. On the bobcat motors, I put it in the front, in the center of the sprockets, but on the LPS long nose motors, there is no plugs there. They have two big plugs and one small allen head plug in the back...

    Towing T-300

I found the hose. It was the 5/8" main hose that comes out the vavle block under the seat, and runs to the back, into the steel tubeing that runs the right lift cylinder. The hose was rubing on a steel tube and fitting. Being that it was the lift hose, it wasn't leaking until I tried lifting...

    Towing T-300

They never had a lot come out th fan ports, most of the fuild was under the cab. I think it may be the horse going up to the cooler too, most of the fuild was in the area of one of the cooler lines. Everything under the seat was dry, and the cooler, the radiator, and the top of the engine was dry.

    Towing T-300

Yea, that's the next plan if I can't find it by inspecting hoses. When it busted the machine was shut off, and you could hear the fuild keep draining. They even had some fuild that came out the fan exhaust ports, (i quess that's what you would call them). Thanks

    Towing T-300

I lifted the cab, and nothing but fuild everywhere. It's not like I can look for a wet spot, everthing was wet. Hopefully it drys up enough to help me find the the leak. I am going to go back to the farm this weekend and try to find it. If I don't see it, I plan on washing everything out and...

    Towing T-300

Hello, a hose busted somewhere inside my 2003 T-300, and a lot of fuild was lost. It is right inside the woods, and I need to pull it about 20 feet to where I can try and find what hose busted. I know that they have the traction lock override button, do I just press that once and pull slowly? I...

    Where is my hydraulic fluid?

Thanks, I was thinking to try that, is there anything I have to worry about being that everything is pretty much drained. I plan on filling it up to the sight glass, run it for a couple minutes, the top it off. I am not worried about draining it a second time.

    Where is my hydraulic fluid?

I have beed busy the last couple of days. A while ago I had a good size leak in the hydraulics, and at that time all we had was regular hydraulic oil, so we had a good bit of regular hydraulic fluid in my bobcat. I would like to get as much of this fluid out, so I can have more of the right...

    Where is my hydraulic fluid?

I am trying to drain the hydraulic fluid out of my T-300 hi-flow, I drained about 9 gallons and I am trying to find the other 4 gallons I am supposed to have. I drained the hydraulic reservoir, the tilt and lift cylinders, the power bob-tach, and the auxiliary hydraulic quick couplers. Would the...

    2003 T-300 Track Tensioner

I pulled it out already, and it doesn't look bent, but I will check it more tommorrow. But I measured from the back palte to the front plate on the tensioner on both sides, and the front plate is cocked about 1/4", and the center peice is also cocked. I don't know if you can see in the...

    2003 T-300 Track Tensioner

Hi, the front of my left track has be riding too far to the inside, and rubbing on the loader arms, when the arms are down. I pulled the track off, and saw that the front block on the tensioner was not stright in the track frame. Then, I noticed the round peice in the center had a chuck of steel...

    Bobcat T300

Yea, I have some kind of ACS problem too now. For about the last 100 hours every once and a while the bobcat does not want to tilt. I don't know what it is, sometimes when it quits I can shake the bobcat or run into a pile of mud or something and it starts tilting again, but than sometimes I...

    Bobcat T300

Hello, I have a 2003 Bobcat T-300 that is right under 2000 hours. I am getting ready to do a complete maintenance on it, engine oil and filter, fuel filter, hydraulic oil and filter, etc. My main question is on the drive sprockets and front and rear idlers.
