    Back at office-warehouse project. Grading building D+E which is roughly 19,000 SF. Ran into some rock on the south side of the building pad which runs through the job southward probably through BLDG B+C's building pad as well. We have a per CY rock removal price so no skin off our back...

    That's why you replace the battery filter because it traps the dirt in the volts and amps moving around - DUH I thought every one knew this!

    I would dig in that bank and as Sky said if it gets out of reach doze from the top. Use that technique all the time with my 953 track loader. Side question - How do ya'll get the trash - mostly the plastic vapor barrier - out of the crushed finished product?

    What HH and DM said. You're not looking over the hood while blading. What you want in a dozer is a clear line to the edge of the blade on both sides.

    Welcome to the Forums. You will need to post a serial number for the wrenches on the board to determine which variant of D5K2 you have. There are several. Good luck!

    X3 - Gotta dig the potholes out and re-grade other wise the holes will come right back. Same way with washboards.

    Dave do I need to come up there and move it for you? :D Got a couple of friends in Calgary and Edmonton so I'll take 7-10 days off, move your machine the first day then vacation the rest of the time. Just pick me up at the airport. :p
