    John Deere 310SG Fuel Problem

Before changing more parts, check the fuel cap vent — a plugged vent pulls a vacuum on the tank and causes exactly this gradual starvation. Quick test: when it's about to die, crack the cap open. If it recovers immediately, that's your problem.

Help with JCB 214s hydraulic line question

Those larger couplers are most likely auxiliary hydraulics, probably for a hydraulic thumb, hammer, or grapple. Since the Amulet thumb is mechanical, it doesn’t use them. You’re right that the 214S uses a tandem pump system, around 21 GPM plus 18 GPM, about 39 GPM total. But that does not mean...

    Cat 235 hydraulic issues

1600-2400 at normal operation is pretty low for a 235. My first thought is the pilot pressure circuit. If pilot pressure is weak, the main control valves won't open up all the way, no matter what the main pumps are doing. It's easy to overlook because most guys go straight to the main pumps...

    Sumitomo SH60 No Hyraulic Controls

I'd check the gate lock solenoid (sometimes called the pilot shutoff solenoid) I think the easiest way to test it is to find the solenoid (usually near the main control valve), unplug it, and check if it's getting 12V when the gate lock lever is up. No voltage? Then you're chasing a bad switch...

idles good, shuts down at high rpm

Had almost the same thing happen on my 320D a while back. Turned out to be a partially clogged fuel pre-filter screen. I'd pull the primary and secondary fuel filters even if they don't look that old. After that, maybe check your lift pump pressure. I think it's most likely just a fuel delivery...

    Terex 72-31B Weak Transmission

Was the torque converter itself replaced or rebuilt as part of this job? Given that's where the original bearing failure happened, it's worth confirming it was properly addressed, too.

Good place for buying parts online?

Friday parts is another source worth trying

    Hitachi ex120-2 hydraulic problem/vibration

Sounds like air is getting sucked into the system somewhere. I'd start by checking the suction hose for any cracks, loose clamps, or fittings that aren't sealing tight. Even a tiny gap on the suction side will pull air in under load. That would explain why easing into movements helps and why it...

    Caterpillar C-12 thermostat assembly question

I'd just put the new stats in without those diaphragms and keep an eye on your temp gauge for the first few runs. If it holds steady where it should, you're good. At least now you know the last guy had some "creative" maintenance habits lol.

    Komatsu PC200-6 Air Conditioning Problems

This is what I found. Bought many parts there. Still work well. Worth checking on the site. https://www.fridayparts.com/for-komatsu-bulldozer-d65px-12u-d65px-12-d65p-12-d65ex-12u-d65ex-12-d65e-12-air-compressor-14x-z11-8580

Bell 4206D Loss of Hydraulic Function

I'd put hand on that discharge line with the engine running, feel for flow/vibration; check for a voltage signal at the solenoid block directly; see if the new LCD screen fixes the communication issue first

John Deere 6415/4045 engine running rough, need help!

Hot discussion here. Here's what I found for RE207311. That may help?

Mini Hyd Excavator 302.4D, fuel gets into the oil

Good find on that leaky injector. I'd still go ahead and get the pump tested while you've got everything apart. It saves you from pulling it all back out later if the pump turns out to be part of the problem, too. Keep us posted on the pump results!

    Volvo ec240b error codes 21 and 31

On some of these older Volvos, the display drops the decimal, so 200 could really mean 20.0V. If that's the case, that's pretty low for a 24V system. I'd lean toward doing a proper load test on your batteries before anything else. Sitting voltage can look fine but sag under load. Also, worth...

    Older Case Excavator Parts Availability

Uhh, if you don't trust Amazon or Ebay, there's a recommendation. You can turn to some aftermarket part supplier. Ever bought many Case replacement parts from Friday Parts. They're good for that price. Usually arrives fast. Maybe worth checking if there are parts you need for Case 9030. Do...

    PC390 lc-10 Hydrulic pressure issues.

Agree with Simon. That gap between actual gauge and monitor reading is a sign of a dying pressure transducer or corroded signal wire. Had something similar on an older Hitachi. My problem ended after cleaning up every ground connection and replacing the pressure sensor. On your RPM issue, 1750...

    New Holland LB90B hydraulic pump

Hey, good luck with the diagnosis tomorrow! Since OEM parts are pricey, I've bought many different parts from aftermarket over the years. Ever picked up a hydraulic pump for my CAT320C from Friday Parts. Honestly, I was not sure what to expect at first, but it fit right and still running good...

2008 CAT 272C Right Joystick Failure..

I'd try cleaning it first, as Smifwal said, but also check the connector pins on the joystick plug itself. A little dielectric grease on the connector after cleaning can help, too. If it still acts up after that, then yeah, I think the base sensor is likely going bad. Maybe try wiggling the...

Hyster H60FT P177 crank-no start; need help with pulling codes

I'd check fuel rail pressure. These engines will crank all day but won't fire if rail pressure is low. Could be a lift pump issue. I'd also double check the FNR switch and parking brake interlock. Sometimes those act up even when it seems like it cranks fine.
