I used the search bar to find threads, but without success.

Do any of you know of a good place to purchase things like mechanical/electrical parts online? I remember seeing a place a few of you seemed to trust, but I never bookmarked the place and forgot the name of it. Any help is appreciated.

Hey Garrett, You might try http://www.messicks.com/. They list parts for our New Holland Skidloaders. They have a good online parts book that you can search on and pricing is included. I use their parts listing quite a bit but I haven't ordered anything yet. I checked on their prices for new sprockets for my chain boxes a few months ago and they were about twice as high as my local dealer (before shipping:eek:). Other than them though, I have not found much online. I did get prices on some new chain, don't remember where it was. Seems like it was quite a bit cheaper than my dealer though.

Anyone else know of any other places I can check online? For some reason I remember a few of you linking to a place that you all recommended, but I just don't remember what it was. It seemed to be a place that a lot of you seemed to favor. Please help me out if you could. I need to get this thing running again. I don't want to have to go to my dealer as he's way too high. Thanks for any help.

I know this thread is a bit old, but it still shows up in search results so figured I'd add some updated info for anyone landing here in 2026.

The online parts landscape has improved a lot since 2014. Here are some reliable options depending on what brand you're running:

For general heavy equipment parts, ConEquip and H&R Parts have solid reputations and carry multiple brands. Both have been around for years and have actual inventory.

For brand-specific needs, I'd recommend looking for specialists rather than general marketplaces. They tend to have deeper inventory and better technical knowledge. For Volvo CE equipment specifically, vmpspares.com carries 13,000+ parts with actual stock photos and part number search. Similar specialists exist for Cat, Komatsu, and other major brands.

The key things I look for in an online parts supplier:
- Real product photos (not just catalog renders)
- Searchable by part number
- Can confirm fitment for your machine's serial number range
- Been in business more than a few years
- Responsive to technical questions before purchase

One tip: always cross-reference part numbers across 2-3 suppliers before ordering. Prices can vary significantly for the exact same part.
