This may not warrant a second thread, but I have a different main question. If this is bad manners on this forum, let me know.
The above excavator asks us in red letters to shut it down in low idle but not at higher idle over 1700 rpm. The only code is a psid 209-09 communication but doesn't say anything further. If I am to understand correctly, that code is fairly generic and many different sensors not reporting correctly can cause that code. I am wondering if my though process is correct and if so what could be so upsetting to the machine in low idle and not high idle. I have watched the basic engine oil pressure and volts and such and nothing seems to drop off to low levels at idle. Thanks for any help.
