Im looking for some other thoughts on a 1845c to see if my heads in the right place. I was driving a 1845c loading and spreading gravel up and down the driveway for a bit over an hour, and suddenly it started making a slightly higher pitched sound coming from the back of the skidsteer, and when I tried to lift the bucket higher up to spread gravel it had no power to the up or tilt cylinders. Its still driveable, and if you cycle the valves it would go down or tilt down, but would not curl in, or lift up on loader, and the Aux circuit seemed to not build any pressure either when pedal was cycled. I then went and disconnected the hose off rear pump that supplies the valves and put it in a 5 gal bucket and disabled the fuel and used starter to spin engine for about 20 seconds and not even a quarter a gallon was pumped into the bucket. I then disconnected the tank to pump hose to verify pump had fluid going to it and lets just say theres no issue there, and i noticed there was some metallic sparkles in the fluid in the hose going to valve, and some of fluid that came out of pump into bucket had notable glitter. The bolts holding pump on are 12 point that i currently dont have but I pulled the back half of the pump off while its still mounted to machine expecting to see the guts of the pump fragged but the 2 gears inside look totally clean and in good shape... I am still convinced the pump is trash but the condition of the pumps 2 gears is throwing me way off, is there something Im missing that could be the issue?

The coupling that drives the pump is likely worn out.
Unless you fully strip the pump, you may not see where the gears may have worn/made contact with the body.

Gotcha, for the price I'd probably replace the coupling reguardless, but I spun the engine a bit with the pump gears exposed and at least the main gear does in fact spin, but yeah thats a good point with the machining tolerances for those pumps wear thats not super obvious to the eye could still cause failure. And yes I did check the handles and the linkage down to the valves to make sure nothing was sticking. Had that issue a few years back where the aux line got cracked open, but the return spring was rusted shut and caused major issues with the machine
