About 13-14 years ago we were buying some 1240 parts from them and my boss was trying to talk himself into buying a couple of those 1146’s from them.I went down and looked at everything after the last load went out for the day and it’s always hard to remember just how big those shovels are
Is this the old Chapman style undercarriage?Having problems uploading a pic, but we have a tsy 50 that has a broken track drive sprocket it is welded on we welded the chunk back on but wondering if anyone would have an idea who would have something like that. Sprocket is 27 tooth and i believe 6.75" pitch.
Maybe has the 90degree drive motors with the bevel reduction it looks like. Never seen it on anything else other then pics of thunderbirdsIs this the old Chapman style undercarriage?
I don't know about Thunderbird but at Madill we often stamped a serial number on components after they were fitted up so when we did the final assembly we got the part that had been fitted. That is the joy of hand made parts. They are all slightly different. Very strange to have the same number on 2 different number plates tho. d.d.With the Thunderbird yarders did they stamp the serial number somewhere on the machine other than the serial plate? in NZ we have two different TSY6335 with the same serial number on the serial plate.
