Nice find Vapor, vantagetes has a video on YouTube where he does a nice job explaining slotdozing. As it is not my video I won't post it, someone else may have permission or he may share it himself.

But when it gets real rocky.... and when i start the slot i will keep my cut very steep...

I will keep the start of my cut very steep, not the entire slot, Just need enough to get a blade full, after that you will level it out. Pretty easy to back up that.
