How do i access the on-board diagnostic system to read error_fault codes.

There is supposed to be some sequence of actions to get warning lights to flash error_fault codes.

How do i decipher the codes from the flashing warning lights .

Begin to think this is a built-in gremlin from reading other posts about this model.

Is there any such thing as an inexpensive code reader compatible with this machine, where is the diagnostic port and what does it look like?

Pretty much have to figure it out myself. Mechanics in my area have long waiting lists.

First 4 of your serial number, 1783 or 1783?
What are you're symptoms?

Yes 1783, works fine one time then it does everything from throttle not responding, flashing warning lights, engine bogging down to a stall when using hydraulics, sometimes automatic shutdown.

Like i said might work great for a day. Or a couple hours then it starts throwing a fit

Using the hydraulic system, the engine is turned off. Is it a sudden power outage or a car shutdown? Is there black smoke?

Water separator inlet elbow plugged.
This same blockage occurred on all of my TL150, TB53FR, TB180FR, SVL75, SVL75-2, and Cat 248B.

Searching "3972" on here should yield pictures and testimonials. That's the inline screen that I added to all of the above, for your exact symptoms.

Is your filler neck screen still in there?

Hi, I'm having an issue with my SVL75-2. Here's a link to a video showing the revs issue - this was at 90% throttle, it just bogs down, feels like it's about to stall, then picks back up again for a short time and then bogs down again. Because of this issue I got the air and fuel filters...
