I bought this used several years ago and it's been great, but first one, now the other console/armrest won't lock in the "up" position. One not working is OK but not both! It could be the gas lifter but I suspect there is also a mechanical catch involved. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? I do have a parts manual but am not sure where to begin as I've never needed to disassemble the console.
