My Dx-6.05 parts have started migrating back together, got the wheels back on today but they're BIG and I had a hard time partly because I couldn't turn them to align the hub bolts. I had expected to be able to turn them with the tranny levers in neutral, I'm looking for wisdom here as I have NEVER worked on a tractor THIS size. Are dragging parking and main brake pads enough to prevent wheel turning by hand? I didn't wanna force it for fear of breaking something, just put arms and body weight into the effort before giving up and finding other ways.

Took me 5 freakin' hours to get the wheelsw/tires on! I put them on with the wheels strapped tight to the backhoe bucket poked in through the opposite end of the tent so that tilting it gave me the bolt-pattern angle.
Front axle is ready except single driveshaft brake. Changed the tie-rods but didn't really have to, the old ones were tight and just needed grease but had no fittings. I'm keeping them for spares, will fit zerks on them later.

Gas pedal hinge was totally digested by rust, cannibalized a shed door-hinge to make one.
