PLEASE HELP!!! kobelco sk 220lc arm regen valve problem

I have an sk220lc mark IV that i believe the regen valve isnt working properly. I have been told that this is inside the arm spool itself, but once i have it out im not sure what im looking for or if im even in the right place.. serial number LLU2224 Also does anbody know where to find a good service and repair manual ?
