So you can prove ownership.
Ownership is the big one, right now there is so much stuff on MP listed as bill of sale no title.
Some has worth but no one will touch, listed for weeks on end. And Washington is very tough
on credible titles.

Last I dealt with one I was told Washington State would not issue title as they were considered equipment. All I have dealt with were sold on a bill of sale.

While that is partially true, if for any use on county/state highways then that changes because
of fuel usage, on road or is it off. Ton's of grey area that can change with usage.
