Hello Gentlemen, working on an ancient Tow-motor by caterpillar. model is 760P and serial 63L146. ?? it is somewhat elderly and has been retrofitted with a 4B Cummins. it has a weak detent on the forward/reverse shifter and i am trying to decide exactly where to start. a parts manual would tell me somewhat about the detent. does anyone know where a parts or service info could be found for this old thing?

Probably need to talk with an older forklift shop that has been around for a long time. I don't think forklifts are under the same banner as heavy equipment as far as parts and service info but could be wrong.

thanks! i had seen that and that it was for a newer serial number than my patient. but my thought was that a transmission might be the same as i have even tho it is a later serial book. was going to try that next. thanks again.
