I have a Komatsu PC180LC-6K - 1999 that will not start when it is warm. It start easily when it is cold (2-3 hours after it’s shut down). But if I stop it and then try to start it up again it just clicks and the starter dos not kick in. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Tips appreciated.

I would start with checking your battery cables. I would suspect when the cable is getting warm the resistance is increasing to the point it will no longer carry a large load. Also check voltage drop of any master switches

Also try giving starter motor a light tap while holding in start position. It if cranks its time for a new starter
