I actually had to call the rep from Bunker Hill that was nice enough to put his card in the package. I was having trouble with it being very stiff because of the bend was too tight. He was able to direct me to take out some of the radius by adjusting the casing and we actually talked about making the sheathing out of a different material if I have problems in the future. Unfortunately for me the triple valve bank is mounted about 4” off the belly pan and it prematurely causes failure in the 3 cables.
You somehow need to get to that spool and see if it will pop in at all. Please take better pictures if you can and the side plate, is not what you want.
More than likely, there will be a cap over that spool valve but need better pictures.
Good luck.
When you pushing on that cable, make sure you’re holding the outer sheathing or it’s just gonna seesaw.

I do not have any manuals for my machine.
Here is a link to the workshop manual online. I don't think its a complete copy but it has a lot of useful info like diagrams and performance specifications.

https://kattrak.com/wp-content/uploads/IНI-15.pdf.pdf

here is a snap shot of a parts breakdown of the cable assembly but it is for an IHI-17 not a 15NX so I'm not sure if it is the same or similar , just thought that it could be of help.

Best regards

Final test. Had a friend stop by and help test the cable..so now how to explain so it makes sense to you both. The cable moves in both directions and returns to center. Pulling up swings boom to the left pulling the spool no problem, pushing down the cable moves about the same distance as going up but it does not push the spool into the valve. So basically i have neutral and up(swing left) but no cable movement at the valve end to push the spool in. I dont understand where the pushing down equal movement goes but i know its not at the other end of the cable by the valve. Is there any way of a cable working at one end but not the other but only in 1 direction. No more questions from me guys i wait for your recommend repair advise.

Referencing from the parts diagram in my previous post, see if you can remove the cable from the spool by removing the cotter pin (#9) from the clevis pin (#27) then remove the clevis pin from the clevis fork (#26) to free up the cable. Then try and push the spool in using the wooden end of a hammer or something similar and see if the boom swing works. Some spool springs are quite heavy and cant be manually pushed or pulled by hand and so you need a little bit of extended leverage. If the swing boom works then you need to remove the cable for further inspection or replacement. As Harley pointed out the Morse type cable must be securely anchored at one end for it to work properly otherwise it may only work one way and not the other.

Best regards

You are on the right track, unfortunately that leads to getting in there, think small.
Lol
Least now, it looks like it’s not a valve problem, which is great.

Made me smile, sometimes you have to work on stuff, that you just instinctively know it’s going to suck.
Just spent 3 hours fixing a fuel gauge that had a bad connection and the sender is in such a crappy location.

Actually gave some thought in becoming an expatriate in Panama.
Sounds and looks like a great place to retire.

Well i had the same thought in 2008 when i was 53 and made sale in Canada and have not even gone back in 17 years. Its not perfect but nowhere is. Every type of climate is available here from ocean level to mountains. Good people, local and gringo restaurants, use the USD. and by chance you enjoy a beer. A 24 pack of great award winning Panama beer is $12/13 a case once you own the bottles. And as a bonus if you are in the USA our seasons are opposite. So even part time you can have summer year round. People say its 3rd world, i disagree its 2nd world. Lots of wealth here just by judging the number of new cars and trucks. New houses from 35 g to the skies the limit.. I personally could not live in Panama city but very happy to drive 4 hours for some shopping trips. Not for everyone as i have met foreigners that have come, stayed 3 years and left because they did not do their homework and thought it would be the same as home but cheaper.
