Finding a Used Ripper

I have a 2014 Cat 314e lcr with oem quick coupler and a 4 foot bucket with 65 mm pins. I would like to get a ripper, preferably used CAT rather than new or Chinese. It will be used for stump pulling rather than rock or frost. I cannot find a cat part number for this which a distant cat dealers used equipment surplus yard wants in order to go over their inventory to check for availability. Can't find anything online, including fb marketplace and craigslist.
Would any Cat ripper with 65 mm pins work since coupler is oem or do they have different widths and gaps of the pins?
If I have to buy new, what nonCat manufacturer is good but not too expensive?

I don't see any ripper listed for a 314E LCR.

The best I can suggest is to contact your local Cat dealer and convince them you are in the market for a new ripper. Tell them you are comparing prices from various sources and ask for a quote with a Part Number..

Did you see if there's a ripper to fit the coupler you have? I don't think modifying a ripper the right size to fit your machine would be a big deal. Either bore the holes bigger or use reducing bushings. A ripper is much simpler to modify than a bucket.

if you don't have a 2' bucket they do work wonders on roots. I could not split a stump with one, but it sure ripped off big legs for a treat.
Sometimes I could RIP a big fir in half.

Ebay has a ripper for my model apparently for $1600 plus cost of pins, to fit 311 to 315 models. You can search Ebay to find it and others. But, I don't trust it because I understand a 315 uses 70 mm pins.

Would such a ripper be okay for roots? No idea what kind of steel is used.
Would a new standard duty common third party ripper be worth the extra money vs this the above for my task fighting roots?

Is this the type of scarifier? A high-quality scarifier in the Chinese aftermarket should cost around 1120 USD.

That actually looks well built.
A used single ripper for a mini ex around here are usually 1500 dollars or more. I have used one and while they are useful, I plan on building one like Marthagate did, nice design.

That is what I am looking for.
I am guessing from this thread that there are not a lot of busted rippers out there based on bad steel or welding.
And the internet is showing that people don't want to part with their used rippers.
