We have a excavator fitted with topcon mcr3 gps system. we replaced a few ts1 tilt sensors and did a bucket calibration etc.
when checking the bucket position against a survey rover with the machine sitting in line with the tracks there is an error of 1m in easting, 0.2m in north and 0.2 in z
then when slewing the excavator 90 degress, square to the tracks, the bucket position error changes to 0.2m easting, 1m northing, 0.2m z.
All sensors are orientated correctly and the bucket has been measured up correctly.
the machine was working perfectly fine about a week prior.
i know i have come across this before, but cannot recall the fix
