Sounds like the speed sensor. That is an important sensor. That needs to be working correctly or you can experience stall issues.
There are also sensors (5 I think) in the compartment behind the cab on two small hydraulic blocks. Unplug them as well. If in fact all have been unplugged and the light is still solid, then it would most likely be a short in the wiring somewhere.
