Was running dozer pushing mulch. And dozer just slammed on brakes and would not move. Played with it for a minute and it started to move, then it did the same a couple more times and now wont move until you let is sit for a hour or so then it will move then stop. Only code that popped up was 2500-3. The machine already had these other codes on it, 2417-05,190-08,291-05. Thanks in advance. Ser is DHA01377

Only code that popped up was 2500-3.

That is a Code related to the position sensor for the Speed Range Control. The signal voltage for the sensor is above normal. Troubleshooting procedure attached. If you need a full electrical schematic please ask.

The machine already had these other codes on it, 2417-05,190-08,291-05.

Your other codes.......

2417-05 - Ether injection solenoid. Current below normal.
190-08 - Engine Speed Sensor. Abnormal Frequency, Pulse Width or Period.
291-05 - Engine Cooling Fan Solenoid. Open circuit for the solenoid. If that is Active then the fan should be running at full speed all the time.

Thank you Nige. What would cause the machine not to move? When setting the brake and releasing the brake it shows on the screen. But as soon as try to move forward or reverse it goes flashing..

What would cause the machine not to move?

An error in the signal from the Direction Control lever position sensor.? If the ECM isn’t receiving the signals it expects to receive it’s probably going to sulk and shut down.

So your saying the lever it self needs to be replaced or is there a part in there that when sour? Thanks Im new to this

Up above I posted a troubleshooting procedure for that particular Diagnostic Code.
Have you read it yet.?
Carrying it out should direct you to the root of the problem and it is NOT guaranteed to be the sensor, it could just as easily be a wiring fault.
