If the hydraulic or implement pump start seal starts leaking on a D5N where does the oil go? I ask because our last dozer had the shaft seal leak and it went into the engine oil.

If i remember right it is mounted to torque so it would go in transmission oil
Thanks it is mounted to the torque converter housing so I was figuring it would leak into the transmission but wasn't positive.

I had a heck of a time finding were the oil was going on our old dozer. Finally figured out it was leaking into the engine oil.
