Hello! Cat 310, Ser#VGWT00617. This machine has a hyd thumb, hyd quick connect, and a 2nd aux circuit. So lots of lines that go from rigid to flexible at the end of the boom. Noticing hydraulic fluid on the ground when parked. Have never used the case drain, but is sure looking like this is the hose that is dripping up towards the top/end. But with machine not running- is there fluid pressure in that line? How?

I think it's good practice to relieve all pressure on lines each time you quit operating. That may solve your leakage issue if you're not already doing it. On my machine (Kubota) here is the general procedure. I don't have a grapple, just buckets and a brush mower. https://www.google.com/search?q=how...ate=ive&vld=cid:8d45d54e,vid:rQmnCJBD2Wc,st:0
(You may have to cut and paste this arduous link into your browser.) I suspect you can find a YouTube video for your specific machine too. Here is a CAT video https://encrypted-vtbn1.gstatic.com...2kG-9i_F8eOCENqM442BcSCjSYhpOqrI_0loIBctl191E
Maybe something here will help.
