Recently purchased a used CAT 259D 3888 hours the door has been replaced with a poly door. tired the wipers and pump nether work. checked the motor it works fine when powered alternatively. no power to the switch, no power at the fuse. I am not very skilled when it comes to chasing down electrical gremlins this one has me stumped.

Another thing I just though of. Kneel on the seat looking down over the back. On the floor of the cab on your RH side (LH side of the machine) should be an electrical connector (CONN 16). That connector has to be disconnected and a jumper installed if the door is ever removed for whatever reason. The jumper fakes the signal from the door safety switch to the machine ECM indicating that the door is closed. The same harness also carries the power for the wiper motor and washer, so if someone has pulled the harness and installed the jumper that could explain why the wipers are not working.

I have the same problem as described in this old post. Removed the jumper and plugged the wiper harness back in. Now I’m getting door interlock voltage high and wiper motor still not working. Any suggestions? Serial no. FTL03127.

If you are getting an error message regarding the switch plus the fact the wipers are not working I would suspect a fault in the harness between CONN 16 and the door. You’re welcome to a schematic if that would help.
A schematic would be of tremendous help!

Could somebody please point me in the direction of finding a wiring schematic for CAT 0279DEGTL03632.

Windshield wiper is dead. Many thanks in advance.
