On this project I acquired, I pulled all the bolts for the oil pan, but in order to drop it the diagonal members attached to the "axle" need to be dropped(it appears). There are 2 bolts which look like 1.5" and 1" that hold it. All the manuals I purchased don't have any information on this. I can post a picture over the weekend, but seeing if this rings a bell with anyone who has experience with this old jalopy? Thanks

Hey Middleman,

I am no expert here, but I do believe the axle gets dropped if you need to remove the oil pan. For the bolt size, I am no help there. I am more so posting this comment to draw attention and maybe someone with more expertise can help you.
