BTW I'm with HMc - it had to be damaged during shipping. Having been to Peoria and Aurora factories back when Aurora made excavators, the quality control was pretty impressive. We took the tour through the plant starting with plate steel to 330DL's rolling out the other end of the facility.

However the dealer should've caught that. That machine would have never made it to the customer like that through our dealer.

Just having a look on the big screen, theres a smudge mark on the left side of the counterweight. wonder if that's part of the untold tale?

Wonder if the idler shaft is broke?

Could have happened on a tough landing from a transport ship. Broke one on our 953C and still don't know how exactly how it happened.
