Hi, everyone, I'm new here on the forums and want to say thanks for some great advice iv gotten from posts
And I'm in the market for 2X mini excavators under about 8K LBS and I don't have much experience with them my father just passed away first of the year and Iv has taken over his SEPTIC company that my grandfather started and its doing well and we are booked with work its just some of the equipment. Is to large and up in the CDL range when
smaller stuff will work better I feel most of the work and profit is in drained repair and I'm looking to cash buy 2-3x excavators that are in the 7500-10.000 LBS RANGE I'd like to be abel to move them without a cdl and with normal 3\4 1TON PICKUPS and have kind of been looking ** kubota kx033 OR KUBOTA U35-4 ALSO THE BOBCAT E32 R AND THE BOBCAT E42 HYUNDAI AND JCB ARE ALSO A BRAND I WAS THINKING ABOUT
MY PLAN IS TO TURN THEM IN LESS THAN 2 years and keep new equipment under warranty so resale value is a primary concern all the pricing on equipment is comparable of what I've looked at I I don't really have any brand loyalty or preference on a paint color one other thought is I somewhat have a preference towards CAB AIR models
but I just don't seem to see very many of them at least percentage-wise on the resale market do you think the depreciation is higher or lower with a cab air on a smaller machine
also we will be digging primarily in central Florida southern Florida so mostly sandene on rocky soil running a 24 inch bucket and plan on quitting all the machines at least with a hydraulic or manual thumb aftermarket or factory recommendations on that I'm open any advice is appreciated
and it seems like the E 32 and the Kubota KX 033 are fairly similar both running Kubota engines, however, the bobcat E 42R2
is Dusan and I have no experience with them
I've already replaced all of the fleet of trucks with new equipment and I didn't have as much experience in this business
it's very similar to anything else just primarily marketing sales and managing and aligning people you're working with and their profitability with yours and equipping them with the correct best equipment for the job
PS pricing is very equal in dealer locations are similar distances away with all companies here in the Tampa area so that's not really a factor in my decision quality resale performance and other performance differences are mainly what I'm trying to find out here thanks for everyone's help in advance and I apologize for the long posting in any spelling or grammar inconsistencies I was using voice on a tablet
