10 years ago, Hancock (in regards to the White River Tree Farm) said their goal was to have one contractor go broke every month. If nobody wen broke, the margins were too "good." If two went broke, the margins were too tight.
That is nothing but evil as business practices go. But, just what does one expect from corporate America.

The same can be said in the OTR freight business--won't be long and owner operators will
be a thing of the past. If a company owns 60 trucks it's best to figure 6 are in the shop at
all times-A OO has his go upside down with big payments-real tough to make it with one
truck. It takes minimum of 20 to keep your head above water and even then it's bad odd's.

Those worthless maggots did a very good job of trying to break me. The only ones that stay afloat for them are ones that are padding their palms

How well does the trailer track/steer on one of those things with the single pup/dolly axle in the middle?
The single axle your looking at is called a "Jeep" in our area . The front Bunk sits on it , under the front Bunk there is a 5th wheel coupling . Behind the Jeep axle is a pintle hitch to a "Pole Trailer" with a compensator which helps the trailer track . Over all the combination of axle's tracks very well .
