1985 demo single white arch was saved it was Cat hq building at 800 Davis St San Leandro,it was a major complex Caterpillar shared space with IH & Peterbilt. Peterbilt moved to Fremont than Tx. IH Emeryville CA truck plant is now Pixar cartoons. Car dealership,Home Depot & apartments replaced it allScreenshot_20260525-214424~2.png

I think they made a few COE Transtar Eagle's that had a 12v71. I read you could tell by the twin stacks if the truck was stock.

You may have already covered this earlier.

Most or a high percentage who worked any trade jobs for a living--had a rigorous life
at some point. And the older we get the hill we climbed walking backwards in -60 snow
storms on our way to school seems to get longer, colder & steeper as time goes by.
And never remember snaring their nuts on the lawn sprinkler they forgot to move out of
the way after removing garden hose to hook to the 60's boomer toy Wham-O-Slip-n-Slide.
My favorite saying is " The older I get the better I was"

The pig in the python theory is pretty much spot on---and as time goes by the python
is getting slimer, it's had a hard time pushing those bellies full of a extra sausage patty
with B&G through.

If it wasn't for P.I.E. jimmy would have suffered greatly. Those years of GMC, Ford & Dodge
were---well troubling.
