Air pressure troubles

We have a 97 kw t800 and sometimes the air will pump up very slow in the yard but when you get going down the road it pumps up very fast. Sometimes in the yard it will take 20 minutes to pump up even ideled up. Is it the dryer? Any suggestions? Thanks

Is there air leaking from the purge valve on the bottom of the air dryer? If no, have you tried sliding the d2 governor back just a bit?

There is air coming out of the bottom we may try a new cartridge in there

Ok, that's the purge valve, you can just put a kit in.

If it needs a purge valve---just completely rebuild it with new cartridge too. It's more
than likely saturated with moisture.
