299D2 not used through winter

Everywhere I turn I read more horror stories about DEF system failure. My understanding is that this 2018 299D2 purges the DEF lines when engine is shut down. Is there anything else I should do across 3 months of non use? Kind of related topic. Any news or observations about relaxing regs on removing after treatment systems or eliminating there use on new off road diesels?

Park it, shut off the master disconnect or hook up a battery maintainer, throw in some rodent repellent, and you should be good.
You could read the owners manual for long term storage instructions but 3 months hardly qualifies in my mind.
