    My first track loader!

Hehe, I just burned a 16 ft high by 80ft long pile of black locust. One of the FD guys deer hunts on my land and volunteered the F dept to come out for some fun. Worked out great, no hassels from anyone. I was very intimidated by the pile size and wouldn't have wanted to do it by myself. Im...

    2014 GMC sierra 2500 sucks.

Back in the shop again. Now they want to replace both calipers, both hoses, and a other thing, and see if that does it. What a fiasco, called gm cust srv again, worthless. They will advise the dealer of my concerns. 17 days in the shop, and 2 weeks out of service, on 3,600 miles, heheh...

    2014 GMC sierra 2500 sucks.

Oh Nice: 9 days in the shop and their still not sure it will go down the road straight. When I called GM corp to get some action I might as well have talking to my dog. Corp speak, canned phrases, and scripted response. What a load of krap. If they go broke again I wouldn't be too...

How much pulling force do I have?

Here is a bit of a murky question. I have a dresser 175C loader that's similar to a TD 15 dozer although with shorter grousers. It weighs about 39K as it has a few extras on it. I broke a 30,000 lb work rated tow strap the other day pulling some logs and was surprised. It didn't seem like...

    2014 GMC sierra 2500 sucks.

Long story, but in a nutshell. When you step on the brakes the wheel gets pulled through your hand and off you go into on coming traffic. It had started less severe but as of Wednesday damn near killed me. It went to the dealer and they didn't find anything wrong. Some of their comments...

    2014 GMC sierra 2500 sucks.

Yea the headline is weird. But this is a hell of a week. New CNC mill down, New CNC bender down, New 2014 2500 gmc truck too dangerous to drive , new furnace controller goes out, newer skid loader starter goes out. 33 YEAR OLD IHC 175C LOADER ??? Running like brand new !! Put 20+ hrs on...

Track wants to jump to out side of bottm rollers

Don't understand that one? Arent the guards just to keep rocks from getting between the rollers and the track? The guards dont touch the track in operation. Can you explain a bit more why that would happen?

Buying track loader for our Ranch cat 963b

Finally got her in the dirt !!

One more. Hey Dmiller, I asked one of my customers about burning out some AR 400 plate for grouser bar repair. How do you think it would hold up VS actual spec grouser bar.?? I think its the same material backhoe buckets are made of for the general market. B

Finally got her in the dirt !!

Dozer vs loader vs high hoe. Now that Im getting more time on this machine I have a observation. Many times I see posts on what machine is best and have spent a lot of time thinking on it myself. Shortly after getting my loader I heard from several buddies that said I should have spent the...

Finally got her in the dirt !!

Well Im happy about that then. I was sure it would burn quite a bit more. Yea I have the same issue with slick track shoes. My plan was to weld on some 3/4 sq cold roll and put a bead of hardface down the middle. I would buy the true AR type grouser bar but I cant find anything shorter than...

Finally got her in the dirt !!

Well as some may know I bought a 175c loader about 6 weeks ago. Between work and family and it needing every service item in the book due to being neglected. Waahlah. Its finally in the dirt. Man what a great machine. The first day was a little rough as I have only ran tractors and skid...

    My first track loader!

Yup thats the one. Well one mystery solved. I havent had the tin off around the seat area yet, I want to and get the grime blasted out. A few days ago I found the 4 way bucket had a odd sort of movement in it when closing. Further inspection revealed both hinge pins were broke at the grease...

    My first track loader!

Hey boone, I have a good question for ya. On the right side of the seat, recessed just a bit under the panel in a small hole. There is a tube with a check ball of sorts on the end of it. Its about 3/8 od and when you push the ball there is a bit of pressure release. Could this be a trans...

    Understanding my track, spare parts.

Hello dozer guys: I have a 175 C trackloader with a newer set of berco rails on it. Do any of you "stock" a extra few links or pins for your crawlers? Are broken links common enough that you should keep one on hand? Particularly that a 175C isn't a current model and it might take some...
