    Parts help!

Zoro shows m33 x 2.0 nylock nuts, and standard nuts in stock. I would either install the nylocks until the nuts get here from China, or cut castle slots in the standard nuts.

    Parts help!

A machine shop could make them easy enough. If you can get a standard nut the right size, just cut slots in the top for the cotter pin. Zoro is a division of Granger, I hate dealing with Granger, but Zoro is great. Go figure?

Broken tooth on oil pump cause bearing failure?

After that 2021 thread, did you try replacing that one bearing and running it again?

    Well this sucks!

We all here know that diagnostics is the real skilled labor most of the time. And also that what the computer says is frequently just a starting point.

    1993 580SK fan belt replacement

I would have sworn the sk pump mounted to the motor support with a 2 bolt flange, but it's probably been 10 years since I pulled an sk pump. Ok, definitely slide the coupler on the splines.

CAT 312 oil sump tank screw switch tap

Friend of mine bought a grain truck with one of those. It was in a line of trucks waiting to get behind the corn picker. He just happened to walk by the grill just as it started to sound bad. He jumped in the driver's lap to shut it off, looked under it and there was a piece of cornstalk wedged...

    1993 580SK fan belt replacement

The hydraulic pump is a 2-bolt flange isn't it?

case 580K phase 1, what is this tank?

On the K ph 3, they show an auxiliary fuel tank there, it just has 2 small rubber hoses that hook to fittings in the main tank. It just adds extra capacity, no switching capability. However, you say that's not a ph 3, and I thought the aux fuel tank would be bigger.

    Just some work pics

I bought a tool box that looks exactly like that, except it says Mac, not Snapon, used about 25 yrs ago on Ebay. It is worn slap out from riding but all the drawers still work. When I wrecked my p'up in August, it went flying but it's still fine.

    1993 580SK fan belt replacement

If it slides freely, pry it over with a screwdriver. If it's stuck, whatever it takes. It is "cold chisel", blacksmiths used them to cut cold steel, versus a hardee, used to cut hot steel.

cool, where did you find them, or did you make them?

    1993 580SK fan belt replacement

You turn the crank so those 2 bolts are up. It's not hard to turn if you go slooow. The coupler will slide up the splines on the shaft far enough to slide the belt in. I did do one one time where the splines were stuck so hard that I loosened the pump bolts a little, but usually you don't have to.

Cat D3. Can someone provide blade width and height?

Need to know a lot more than just D3. Series, what type blade, and what type tracks could get you in the ballpark. As always, serial number is best.

I have hazel eyes, and can read a newspaper when it is too dark for most people to walk. I have won bets that way.

bobcat battery drain while not in use and need extra volts to start

Do what Simon says (I'll spare you the joke this time), and if that doesn't find it, I bet you have a relay that is failing, and needs the extra surge of power to latch.... maybe.
