    Dresser TD7E

I'm no expert but I'd start by checking the range selector valve and reverse linkage. Do you have an early model transmission (large transmission with short drive shaft) or the later model small transmission with the 10 inch drive shaft?

Make sure whatever starting aids your dozer has are working properly and use them per the instructions in the operators manual. Cold weather is the Achilles heel of diesel engines. Diesels initiate combustion via the compression of the air fuel mixture. In cold weather, the peak compression...

Section for komatsu d20,21 and similar grey market dozers

Sulfur was never a lubricant in diesel fuel. It's a contaminant. The process used in removing sulfur from the fuel reduces the lubricity of the remaining fuel. Hence the need for lubricity additives in the fuel additive package. In the US all road diesel and red dye diesel are the same except...

    D3B Running Sporadically

Your problem sounds like a restricted fuel supply because it runs and starts, idles, but won't run continuously at high power. When you shutdown, the line slowly refills and you repeat the cycle. Some trash can be moving around on the tank bottom intermittently covering the fuel outlet...
