    Mine is 150 x12mm I beam I had bent then spent my nights welding 12mm flat along the sides....was told box shs would fold Yours doesn't look like it's going anywhere great job love this thread

    Lightning Strikes Equipment

    I have no personal experience with this but remember hearing of a dozer being hit by lightening. It was well before electronics and computers in machinery. The strike ruined the batteries and alternator etc but also caused damage to the drives and gears by somehow welding them or similarly...

    Loved the one on the hd5 Here is the one on our farm in Australia My dad brought it new in the 50's got rid of the shovel put that blade on it. It spent most of its life shoving timber and stoking fire piles as we cleared our farm. When I came home we had the motor rebuilt and the gearbox done...
