Would anyone be able to help me with getting a breakdown of this 3208 turbocharged engine. It is a 1984 in a dump truck. It's remanufactured number so I suppose that's going to make it tough. But I would think that it would be the same as most other 328 turbos? All we need is the injection pump area. We've got some external leaks going on.

Also this little round metal disc was found sitting in the galley. Any clue where it is?

That disc is the fuel inlet check valve. It lives under the fuel inlet housing. #4 .

External leaks on a 3208 usually come from the black hoses that are connected to different sub assemblies..
U have to find out which hose is leaking and follow it up to where it’s connected to the pump..

Back to that photo. Based on the "250BHP @ 2600RPM" from the data plate it appears as though the Arrangement Number is 7W3300. See attached which is the BOM for the engine plus the Test Spec.

If it's similar to a 3204 the check valves will have openings and a screen visible on the opposite side, not just a flat disc on both sides. Two are used on a 3204. Maybe a 3208 uses a flat disc as part of a check valve though? If it's not fuel related I'd guess a shim of some kind.
