I too am having problems removing starter on a similar EC25. Did you find a solution ? It looks like an engine out job.

I’m thinking of cutting out the in cab seat mounting and creating an inspection plate behind the cab. Has anyone any experience of this please ? It seems it would make things much easier.

If you remove the tin airguide that fills the space surrounding the fans air inlet. You should be able to access the starter screws. It's tight and uncomfortable, but can be done without removing the engine
