Hey everyone! My name is Zach, I live in North Dakota and work at a surface coal mine as a diesel mechanic. We maintain a fleet of haul trucks, loaders, dozers, scrapers, blades, and excavators. Mostly Cat, some komatsu and others. We work on those goofy kress coal haulers so if you've ever wondered about those feel free to ask! Before here I worked at a Case construction dealer, didn't mind the equipment but couldn't hang with the dealership life. Thanks for being so welcoming to us young bucks!

Always good to see young guys in the industry. There's a few guys here that work in the mines. I always like seeing pictures, if you can take and post them. Some places don't like pictures being taken.

Either way, glad to have you here.

Welcome from BC!

We have some large coal mines in the southeast/northern part of the province.

Most of my career was on the hard rock/exploration side of the industry.

Nice to have you onboard!

Unfortunately they frown on picture taking where I work, however a Google images search of falkirk mine has some decent equipment pictures from news articles and whatnot.
