With the price of new trucks like a Ford Raptor I think your Grizzly being way heavier built and ultra rare it's easily worth North of $100K. Yours also has a very special history with the widow of the builder and being the 1st one built. Those 2 things should bring more $$$$$ too. Will's is the last 1 built which deserves extra as well. You should try to convince Avery to restore his.

I agree with much said as the value of them is all over the board. They're such a unique and specialty vehicle that it will be hard to find the correct buyer willing to pay large money for one but then on the flip side there is someone that when they find the truck they want, money will not be an object.

An example of selling--even for a tidy sum, the big BUT is what is it going to cost to replace.
This one, my brothers 97 350 PS 4x4, he has been offered stupid money--30K. It only has
80k miles, interior is like new garage kept, mainly all miles are highway. So it stays put, if
he was to pass I end up with it---I don't need it though.

I don't need to tell you this but that truck is worth a hell of a lot more than 30k!

I suppose, he bought it off the show room floor at Bellevue Ford, his daughter picked it out
at the age of 16. The dealer had it customized with the flairs, side nerf bars, Centerline
wheels, grille & pinstriping. It is loaded with every option that was available that year.
I changed out all the coolant hoses with oem about 5 years ago and have done most of
the service work on it through the years.

Not sure that this is settled -- we just got an email from CWA saying they hope to get $45K for it, even though it needs a complete body rebuild.
I talked to them directly and they said they are keeping it..We will see..

I’m the guy in Whistler with the Grizzly Den. I’m certainly on the fence about keeping or selling it. It probably needs $50,000 worth of body work if you had to pay someone. Open to creative ideas, projects and suggestions. We might even sell it if you catch us on the right day. I seem to be flip flopping. FYI the front axel is and has always been fine. I saw that someone posted something about it being broken. It’s got the 5.9 Cummins with the Dodge 3500 chassis. Runs and drives.

Not to change the subject but I got my truck back from the shop last week.

Crossover steering is a game changer, I get full turn out of the wheels in both directions now. We replaced the industrial p-pump with an automotive p-pump, with a little tuning it's now producing an estimated 350hp.
The driveline vibration turned out to be bad angles on the driveshaft. When the engine and transmission were mounted on the frame they tilt down towards the front of the truck, creating a bad angle on the u-joints. New perches were made for the rear axle and the air bag mounts had to be realigned to tip the pinion up to ease the angle.

I haven't had a chance to drive it much since getting it back but the vibration is gone and the extra power is noticeable.

As a cool project, I would restore it into a camper for family of 5. My idea would be a camper with beds, not with full on stove, toilette etc. Similar to a Westfalia Weekender model, which is essentially a place to sit, has small foldable table and beds for sleeping.

Full on overland would be cool, but it makes the vehicle a single purpose only. With temporary beds etc it could still easily be transformed in a crummy like it's original purpose.

I don't have a lot of room to work in my shop but i can tinker and catch up on little jobs.I made a set of cables for the safety pins on the over center tailgate latches on the grizzly and I made a cable for the trunk pin on the 67..I have never made cables before but i figured it out...
