I know this has been addressed before but my situation is a bit different. My lift will start to lift, on initial operation, but will only go up an inch or so and stall. If I operate the switch back and forth quite a few times eventually it will start to work slowly up. Once it has become operational it works fine. RPM's are adequate, it drives fine, and loads on trailers fine, steers fine, and all else works fine. I have changed the coil as well as the solenoid and nothing changed. It doesn't throw a code of any kind on the ECM. I can't find any type of electric lift lock that would prevent the normal operation if it weren't working and don't think there is one. The machine has only 2500 +/- hours, oil and filter are new. I would suspect the pressure relief valve but once it works it works fine, unless it is hanging up and once it breaks free then it is fine, but that doesn't explain it trying to lift and just stopping. Usually pressure relief valves either work or don't in my experience. Thanks in advance for any input.
