Fuel trouble

Hi all, we have a 314dLCR. Was running good. Took it to a job, put fuel in it only to have problems dying. Figured out when they refilled our big fuel tank at home the guy left the cap off so we drained the tank on the excavator and sucked water out of our big tank at home. New filters and new fuel (from local truck stop, not our big barrel). Much better but limited power and will die under hydraulic function at idle. Thinking maybe some water left in the system or junk. Trying to locate the little screen in the banjo bolt. No fitting on the bottom of the hand primer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

There doesn't seem to be one.

In your position the first thing I would do is to drain water/sediment from the fuel tank before moving forward. The drain valve is located underneath the main implement hydraulic pump. Probably a good idea to do that first thing in the morning after the machine has sat all night. you may have to do this a couple of times.

Next thing is to remove the prinmary filter/water separator and completely disassemble the head (circled). Remove all the fuel line fittings and blank plugs from it then blow through all the passages with compressed air. Reassemble making sure each fitting is clear. Change all three fuel filter elements again and bleed the system. See where that gets you.
