Ford 4500 with backhoe 752 hydraulic issues and looking for shop manual

So, let me introduce myself first: Bouke, a Dutchman who has been living in Romania for years. I have a camping and guesthouse rental here. A few years ago I bought an old Ford 4500 with backhoe from a local resident. I use it to dig a hole here and there and level the ground. Last summer I decided to do some major overhaul work such as replacing the clutch plate, rewiring the machine, steering, front axle suspension, new lighting, etc.
I have some problems with the hydraulics. The first cylinder (the lifting cylinder of the backhoe) lifts without any problems but only drops on its own weight and has no 'digging force'. All other hydraulic functions work properly. If I disconnect the hose (that pulls the cylinder in) from the valve block, no oil comes out at all. So the problem must be in the valve block. Is there anyone in this forum who has a workshop manual for this machine and who could send me a digital version? Or perhaps has some tips.... I also have problems with the steering pump and am looking for a replacement or repair set.
Thank you in advance,
Bouke
BTW...: I found out that almost all parts I had to buy until now are way more expensive in the US then here in Europe (like 2, 3 times more), so if I can help somebody with something, just let me know.

I don’t have a digital version of the manual but I can snap a few pictures from the book. Let me know if you need anything else.

I've been reading the pages you sent me and this is indeed very useful information. But in the text is referred to page 22 and 24 that should contain some images (figure 17 and 19). Would you be so kind to send me some more about the hydraulic part? I'd be very grateful.
I would like to ask you if it possible for you to scan the book when you have some time and send me a digital copy. I can see that the book is held together with plastic-comb binding so not impossible to take apart without destroying it. I'd be more then glad to pay for it. Going back to the problem: Do you have experience with this model? When I took out the strainer from the oil tank there was a lot of dirt around it and the strainer is damaged so most likey there is dirt in the valve block as well and might even be the reason of my problem... Would you say that it is doable to take the valve block apart without special tools? I have some gauges to measure the pressure but no special tools that might be needed. Also, the hydraulic connections used on the tractor are not very common in Europe so hard to find adaptors to fit for the testing.
Thank you (and possible other readers) for your reply.

Sorry for the late response. Been deer hunting for the last week. I’ll try my best to get it scanned for you but I have a lot to get caught up on. I have 4-5 of these tractors out in the field. Ford didn’t change much on the 4000 series (1965) to the 545D (2003)

No special tools are needed to remove the hoses on the valve but it’s a pain getting the hoses off. The fittings are standard SAE (o-ring) to JIC fittings. The first thing I’d do is check the pressures. There is a main hydraulic relief setting and a couple of the spools have their own relief valve/settings.

Hi Check Break,
thank you for your reply and that book looks great. The issue is that it is hard to get things send over from the States to Europe, most Ebay sellers don't send to Europe, it takes a hell of a time and is definitely very expensive. These are the main reasons why I would like a digital version besides the fact that it stays clean ;).
I'm not in a hurry, so I'll wait for Andy K. as he wrote that he'll scan the book when he has time.

Hi Andy,
Hope your hunt was succesful.
Don't worry about that. It is winter here with lots of snow, the tractor is standing outside and I'm not really eager to get frozen feet.
I'd be really happy if you would scan the book but don't make it a priority, do what has to be done first.
Thanks again.
