Hi All
In Auckland New Zealand at the moment there is a shortage of experienced earthworks operators, we have had adverts running for a whole year and didn’t really get many good responses.
Our Season starts mid September and finishes end of May for earthworks.
In our industry we normally work with topsoil and clay material.
Running scrapers, dozer and scoops, excavators and dumptrucks, compactors and discing equipment.
The hours our staff works are from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am to 3.00pm Saturday. So is around 55 – 65 hrs per week
The rate we pay is a flat rate, dependant on experience, $20- $38/hr NZD
