I have a cat IT18B loader. yesterday while using it. the transmission began slipping. I would like to know if there is a filter that could be cleaned? also what the test procedure is to determine the problem.

thanks, Daniel

Look at the bottom of the transmission transfer case. There is a screen and magnet assembly behind a 4-bolt cover. You will have to drain the oil first before removing it, then take photos of whatever you find in the screen or stuck to the magnets. What you find will determine how to move forward.
